Experience Summary
I hold a degree in Business as I have been in this field for over 30 years. I have been an engineering assistant for ten years and worked in sales and marketing. Upon my return to college I became very interested in education and feel I need to help students stay in school and to be a mentor for students who need extra help with reading and comprehension, and self esteem.
I have achieved to graduate Cum Laude after being out of school for 35 years.
Teaching Style
I love to encourage and reward students for their efforts. I want what I teach to be fun and become something they want to learn rather than some thing they have to do. I will put together a plan that will entail all the required learning objectives while including ways to relate what we are studying to every day life situations. My style is to let the student have the freedom to expand their own imagination, I want my students to feel what they read and understand the content in a way they can speak open about the story or subject.
I am a good public speaker and have been very successful in motivating people. I know I can make a great difference in a students life and I want to make a difference in our future leaders.
