Experience Summary
My experience in education is vast. I have earned a BA in elementary education. I have worked for eight years as a teacher in the education field. I also have a MAED in Early Childhood. I have also taught a Kindergarten class in church school for a year as well as serving as church school superintendent. I also have experience in working in a home preschool for one year during college. I have past and recent experience working as a a substitute teacher in Huntsville, AL as well as Flint, MI and surrounding areas.
Teaching Style
The best way to describe my teaching style is flexible. I don't limit myself to one style because I've never taught one type of child. Students are diverse and as a teacher my style of teaching must also be diverse. I believe in modeling and hands-on learning experiences. Students need to see new concepts worked through correctly. They should then show understanding of material through such processes as reteaching and through real world application whenever possible.
