Experience Summary
I graduated from a small private liberal arts college, where we pushed to gain experience both inside and outside of the classroom. I received my BA degree in Communications with an emphasis in electronic media. I have excellent skills when it comes to writing papers, proofreading, and basic level math such as algebra. I have experience tutoring children who were between the ages of 7 to 15 years old and I helped these children with improving their reading . I have experience teaching basic level Spanish, such as how to say your name, numbers, and how to ask directions.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with children and helping them to overcome obstacles that they feel are weighing them down by showing them alternative methods to what they are having difficulty with. I am a very patient person when it comes to teaching others something, because I understand that every person learns at a different pace. I try to use examples that are easy for the children to understand and comprehend.
