Experience Summary
I've tutored a wide range of students from 5th graders to 12th graders in a variety of subjects including Math and Science. I have received a undergraduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a graduate degree from University of Michigan. Both degrees are in engineering. In addition to academics are my experiences in the work force. I've done internships with several well-known companies like General Electric, 3M, and NASA. I believe that my industry experience will help me provide excellent insight for students in addition to my academic experience.
Teaching Style
I believe that students learn best when you are able to embrace and utilize what interests them. With that said, I don't have a standard way to tutor as every student is different. I believe in visual learning, so the use of activities and props are all a part of tutoring. Additionally, as someone who has gone through the academic system, I believe I can provide good advice that will help students reach their academic goals.
In addition to all of my credentials, I am an Eagle Scout. I love the outdoors. I love sports, especially football.
