Experience Summary
I believe in life long learning. I majored in botany and have a minor in both Spanish and chemistry. I hold a masters degree in Biology with an emphasis on plant health. I am currently writing my dissertation for my PhD program in Adult Education. I have over 20 years experience in plant health research and have taught several different subjects to all age groups. I am currently an Extension Educator.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and believe that the teacher is part of the learning process on many levels. Each individual has a unique learning style, and it is up to both the student and teacher to recognize the different styles of learning that will produce the best results. I strongly believe that the responsibility of the teacher is to teach and help the student succeed.
