Experience Summary
As a Princeton University graduate and current Ph D student at the University of Michigan, I am committed to both my own education as well as the education of others. My undergraduate degree in Art & Archaeology provided me with a solid humanities background and strong reading, writing and analytical skills. In addition to my humanities skills, I also have a strong math background. Following college, I worked with Teach for America as a High School math instructor in Algebra, Geometry and remedial subjects. Beyond my experience with Teach for America, I have also worked with younger students as a science instructor at a museum.
Teaching Style
I am a firm believer that every child can learn and succeed, particularly when working with an educator that connects with them and is willing to take the time to adjust to their specific learning style. I love working with students and helping them to achieve their potential. I am an engaging, patient and considerate instructor. I have seen the difference excellent teaching makes in my own life and I hope to make a similar impact on the lives of my students.
