Experience Summary
I have 25 years experience in accounting. Also hold a BA in Psychology, a BS in Education and currently finishing a M.Ed in Education at UAB with a 3.8/4.0 GPA. I also am a member of the Kappa Delt Pi Education Honorary and Golden Key International Honour Society. I taught in the Prince George's County, MD school system and also served as a graduate Assistant at UAB. I am a Quickbooks Advising Partner and also own my own accounting business. I have over 20 years experience with all Microsoft software and several other software packages. I have trained students in test preparation for the GRE, GED, ACT and SAT. My fields of expertise are business, English, test prep and all Social Science areas.
Teaching Style
My teaching syle is on a personal one-on-one basis with instruction both thru lecture, hands on and multi-media applications. I believe students only learn thru a multi-level program. Lecture and memorization is not enough. Further, "teaching to the test" accomplishes nothing. Students must learn the content not just the basics.
