Experience Summary
I am a teacher with ten years experience and a passion for teaching. I have acquired both a master's and bachelor's degree from Buffalo State College in addition to studying abroad in England. I have been a teacher in the Gowanda school system for 9 years and have taught AP US History for 8 of those years. In addition, I have taught remedial programs at Erie Community College and have offered after school review sessions months prior to the AP US History exam.
Teaching Style
My teaching methods are based on years of research. I am firm believer in using formative assessment and incorporating technology whenever possible. Focusing on the Thoughtful Ed approach to teaching of Dr. Harvey Silver, I try to address the varying learning styles of all students in the classroom.
