Experience Summary
I love math, and am excited about others enjoying it as much as I do. I have earned a BA, with a minor in Accounting with plans to continue my education to become a CPA. Even though I have not actually worked as a tutor through North Greenville University, I have assisted with friends and classmates multiple times to assist in basic Mathematics, such as Algebra and Geometry, and also in Accounting courses I have taken throughout my college experience.
Teaching Style
I enjoy seeing others achieve their goals and begin to comprehend things they didn't before. During the times I've helped other students and friends, I have always had a lot of patience. I know that these things don't come fast, and so I take the time to teach the material, give them time to try and do the problems on their own, and then go back over the material making sure each point is understood, even the places where the student may have gone astray. I try and let them recall and teach themselves as we go along, so that the student is not always being "handed" the answers.
