Experience Summary
In 2004, I graduated with a Finance degree from the University of Miami. Outside of my major I focused on mathematics, engineering, and philosophy. Since graduation, I have had 6 years real-world work experience in the field of Finance including, running and managing my own company and working on Wall Street for the world’s most profitable investment bank. I know business related subjects well. Furthermore, I have two years experience as a swim coach. While coaching, I taught 5-18 year olds technique, body mechanics, stretching, and discipline. We won our division championships both years I was there and we had a blast in the process. I will utilize my wide-ranging experience and am committed to helping students reach their goals.
Teaching Style
In today’s global and fast paced environment, an emphasis on education is very important. With that understanding, my teaching style is focused on results. And, since results are decided individually, I will match my style to the tutee’s objectives – ranging from easy-going to intense, depending upon the result sought after. I also feel we learn better when we’re relaxed and in a good state of mind, so I will do my best to keep things as light hearted and as humorous as I can. Great teachers throughout my life have had an immense effect; I hope to give that back to others.
