Experience Summary
As a student who graduated with honors from Sonoma State University in December of 2009, I was driven to achieve the highest level of excellence in education. I have earned my BA in Biology, and have taken 21 units of Chemistry, and 12 units of Math. I have also gained many hours of experience using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, while writing research papers, laboratory reports, and essays. During the last two years I have tutored in algebra, but I feel very comfortable tutoring in both science and mathematical courses.
Teaching Style
I have a large passion for sciences, and teaching others. I am a kinesthetic and visual learner, and I understand that determining a students learning abilities is the first key to success with education. My ambition is to provide the best education and learning experience for all I influence. It only took one great teacher in my sixth grade to lead me to my love of science, and I believe that every student has the capability to love the subject if they have the right instructor.
