Experience Summary
I am currently teaching remedial reading and Math at Mary Immaculate School located in Key West grades k-8
I have taught bilingual students
I have also taught high school level students, Biology, Math, Language Arts, Spanish and fine arts
My 20 years of experiences has allowed me to work in urban schools, rural schools and in private schools.
I have most recently been trained to teach Adults through Literacy of America as a volunteer.
Teaching Style
I believe in life long learning and I encourage children to apply themselves to do their very best.I also encourage children to determine what their best learning style is and to apply their learning style to fit their specific needs. For example some children require a more sequential repetitive approach to learning. Other children require a system in which they practice what they know through an oral approach or a hands on approach to learning.
