Experience Summary
I received my bachelor degree from Ohio Northern University, a BS in Biology with a concentration in Physical Therapy. After graduation, I moved to Florida to attend the University of North Florida to obtain my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am currently in my second semester and will have my Doctoral degree completed by April 2012. At the University of North Florida I have had the opportunity to help my fellow students in several subjects; Anatomy, Physiology, Neuro-Anatomy, and Kinesiology. Although I do not currently receive money for my tutoring, I take it very serious and enjoy helping my classmates.
Teaching Style
I believe that anyone can learn material if it is presented in the correct way. Every child has their own learning style and it is important to find out what the style is and to utilize the child's strong points. I am a flexible teacher that can adapt to presenting information in various ways that will best help the child learn. I am very patient and understanding to the fact that not every person will understand the material right away. I will continue to work and present the material in various ways to ensure that the student understands thoroughly.
