Experience Summary
I have over 40 years of work experience in full-time and contract accounting positions in the Twin Cities. The industries range from large and complex public school districts to small insurance environments to manufacturing and service firms. I taught beginning accounting for a couple of years at a local private college. I also am a published musical composer and have a moderate knowledge of German.
Teaching Style
My style is one of collaboration - I learn as my clients might. I am patient and love to use examples and analogies. I am never satisfied until "all the lights are on", so to speak, and will find whatever means it takes to elicit student understanding.
