Experience Summary
As a graduate of Cum Laude from Edward Waters College, located in Jacksonville, Fl, it has been my deepest desire to teach. With a bachelors in Elementary Education, and a minor in Special Education I have gain to understand the concept of patience. I have been tutoring for about twelve years with K-8th grade in all areas of academics. I have also tutored international students as well in the areas of English, extensive grammatical skills and general math language. Also, directed a Before/After School program for tutoring located in Tampa Fl, Hillsborough Public School System for six years.
Teaching Style
It has always been my dream tohelp children of all nationalities and disabilities. I can bring to the table lots of experiences but in order for a child to fully get the understanding of any subject, I feel the best way is by "hands on" experience. A child can relate more to objects in front of them and by using simple concepts to solve a problem. My goal is to provide a variety of ways to solve varies issues and concepts that your child may be falling short in. Every child can learn but not every child has the same technique. Learning should be fun not a struggle and I am a strong believer in "No Child Left Behind".
