Experience Summary
I have begun volunteering as a math instructor for the Greenville Literacy Association. This has been the most eye-opening and rewarding experience for me. I have seen the tangible impact and positive contribution that community members can achieve through concerted action and educational empowerment initiatives.
I hope to use my passion for education not only to become a great teacher, but also to inspire students by providing guidance and setting a good example. Because of my background and upbringing, I am able to relate to students on their level and make a deeper connection. I am confident that my combination of practical work experience and solid educational background has prepared me for making a positive and lasting contribution.
Teaching Style
I see teaching as a challenge to me. I love to help students and Elderly people. While attending community college and later university in South Carolina, I tutored many fellow classmates. I began tutoring and mentoring students in secondary school and college in Greenville and realized what a powerful difference one can make by setting a positive example and being a good role model.
During my four years of college, I have first hand experienced of using computers which include excel, power point, word, some software; such as, C++, Matlab, Minitab and SAS. I also have taken classes in social Sciences such as, Organic Chemisty, University Physics, Bio Chemisty etc. I also have experience of tutoring higher level Science class.
