Experience Summary
I completed and earned my Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in Mathematics from Marietta College in May 2012. I am currently attending John Carroll University to pursue my Masters degree. I tutored in high school and college for about 8 years. I am a mathematics major with a minor in history. I have taken upper level math courses all my life and I have helped out/participated with the college's mathematics department on occasion. I also have a love for the sciences, especially taking Chemistry and Astronomy just recently. My strong fields in mathematics include Algebra, PreCalculus, Calculus I, II, III and Discrete Mathematics.
Teaching Style
I love mathematics, I am not going to deny it. I find it to be one of the most thrilling subjects out there. I can understand why so many people dislike it. My job will be not to make you like it but to help you appreciate it and not take it for granted. I am a very patient person with many helpful tips, books and mnemonics to help others to understand. I want to show people that math geeks are people to who want to see the best in everyone, numerically.
My Hobbies
Collecting Game Shows, Exercised, Doing Math Problems on my spare time, writing parody songs, coin collecting, playing board games, bowling, bocce ball and more.
