Experience Summary
I have been teaching Biology and Physical Science for the past 6 years at a very competitive private high school. I have a degree in Biology with an emphasis on Secondary Education. As well as teaching high school for the last 6 years, I have also taught at the local College for Kids summer program. At this program I was the instructor for invertebrate dissection. I am also avaible to assist in writing research papers, lab reports, and essays.
Teaching Style
My favorite part of being a teacher is when I see a struggling student succeed. I believe that all students do not learn in the same way, and so it is of utmost importance to find the BEST learning method for each child. It is important to keep the student involved in the learning process with hands-on activities that allow the student to experience the science!
