Experience Summary
I have earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. I also have 33 hours beyond my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. My lastest certificate was achieved a month ago in the Orton-Gillingham Reading, Writing, and Spelling course designed to assist students with these particular learning difficulties. I received 3 hours of Graduate credit from the University of Michigan for taking this course.
Teaching Style
I love working with a diversity of students. My main goal is to assist students in achieving their academic goals. I modify the curriculum according to their needs. I am very patient, friendly,and enthusiastic. It is quite easy for me to build a trusting relationship with my students. I have worked both in the public and private school settings. I prefer one on one tutoring which is what I did mostly in the private school setting.
