Experience Summary
I have always loved to read and have always had a passion for reading. As a child, I was taught that good reading skills were keys to furthering my knowledge base as well as preparing me for the future. I have written several essays and have recently self- published my first novel. I am available to tutor in the areas of basic reading and writing. I am available for all ages and grade levels.
Teaching Style
I feel that all children can learn if they are given the chance and opportunity. Today’s children are faced with many pressures (peer, parental, social, etc) which can hinder and/or deter their academic chances. I am patient and I am able to make your child feel comfortable. I recognize that every child is different and their learning and information processing styles are different. I recognize and respect that and will not try to institute a “cookie cutter” style or “one-size-fits-all” style of teaching.
