Experience Summary
I am a raising senior at Boston College. I am a native Chinese speaker who was in China until age 15. I am fluent in both spoken and written Chinese. I have been tutoring Chinese since high school. Besides Chinese, I have also tutored in many other subjects including Math, Chemistry, and Physics. I am also a current intern at a non-profit organization, and my responsibility includes teaching and assisting Costumer Service / Life Skill and computer classes and developing classroom exercises.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and helping people learn by using my knowledge. I am very enthusiastic and patient. I always give encouragement to my students, and push my students to reach their full potential. I am very active and positive. I am good at breaking down complicated steps so students can understand.
I think education should not be limited to only the classroom material. Indeed, the materials are just the basis. For a rounded education, I believe that a teacher should also be a role model to the students.
