Experience Summary
I received an MS degree in mathematics from Northwestern University in 2008. Currently I am in the M-Stat(master of statistics) program at the University of Utah expecting to graduate in December. I had been a teaching assistant for many years when I was studying at Northwestern University. I lead discussion sessions, held office hours and graded quizzes, homework and exams. I received very high praises and evaluation scores from the students. I am able to teach a wide variety of math courses, ranging from secondary school math counts to graduate school level math. Probability relate theory is particularly of my strength.
Teaching Style
I am patient, easy going. I explain concepts in very precise, clear manner. I understand which part of the reasoning the students have trouble with and help them where they needed the most. When coming to "explaining concepts and solving problems" many students have called me "the best tutor they have ever had".
