Experience Summary
I have recently completed my Masters in Elementary Education and am working at Community Charter School in Charlotte as a Teaching Assistant. I have my North Carolina teaching certification as well as a Pennsylvania certification. I have attended a number of trainings and workshops to expand my knowledge as a teacher, and have accepted a teaching position at the school as a K-1 teacher next year.
I am strongly focused on positive discipline and pride myself with trying to instill my students to be well rounded with great character values. I am dedicated in giving each and every child equal opportunity to succeed.
Teaching Style
In order to be an effective teacher one must possess the ability to create an engaging, positive classroom that not only focuses on the major subjects but incorporate the arts as well. I feel that children learn in various different ways and incorporating different methods of effective instruction students will gain the knowledge they need to succeed. I will use new and innovative ways to instruct each and every child in the classroom.
Teaching in an environment that possesses a positive energy as well as an active learning environment is the key to successful education. They will be able to incorporate what they learn each and every day in the classroom and apply it to everyday life.
