Experience Summary
As a recent graduate of Utah Valley University, I have always had a love for math and sciences. I have my bachelors degree, BS in Mathematics, which has helped me gain an understanding in all different types of math, and some sciences. Along with my degree I have experience as a tutor in all levels of math, including geometry, algebra, college algebra, calculus, and statistics. I also have had experience as a volunteer student teacher at a local high school. I enjoy helping others come to an understanding of math and bringing them to a point of enjoying math as well.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and bring others to that "ah-ha" moment in their learning. I feel that anyone can learn a subject if they are willing to try. My teaching style is based on asking questions and helping lead the student to the answer through there own power. I do not, and will not just give answers. Students all learn in different ways, I try to understand their way of thinking and use this to best help them learn.
