Experience Summary
I grew up in Cameroon, a former colony of France and Great Britain. French is the official language so, learning the language was critical to complete my education. I earned a BA in Business Administration and went to France to complete some courses in Accounting. My passion for sharing knowledge led me to teaching after my BA in Business. I thought high school students at Institut Samba, a private school in Cameroon, for 3 years. I always have at least one student I am tutoring; this is either in French or Accounting. To me, it is one of the most fulfilling work and it helps me keep your knowledge fresh.
Teaching Style
Over the years, I came to realize that things such as getting yourself in the student's shoe and understanding his/her environmnet is critical in customizing a teaching for that specific person. Some students like studying in a very fun environment while other may find it distracting. Therefore, developing a flexible approach has been helpful for me because I have been able to serve different types of students in various age range. I believe knowledge is essential for self-confidence; in this dynamic and competitive environment, we all have to keep our knowledge up-to-date.
