Experience Summary
I have been active in all aspects of education over 20 years. I enjoy working with students and seeing them succeed in what they desire. I have worked with elementary through high school age students preparing them for their next transition. I have taught Language Arts/English skills to kids in elementary through high school. I have tutored kids in English and Learning Strategies. I have worked with ESOL and ESE students--and feel comfortable with them.
Teaching Style
Students learn differently, as a teacher it's my responsibility to learn how each student learns and teach accordingly. I have found students who are active in learning are more productive than those who aren't engaged. I like to involve students in the learning process. I am creative and capable of applying situational learning to ensure students comprehend the concepts being taught.
