Experience Summary
I have earned two Bachelor's degrees, BA Biology/Chemistry with a concentration in Secondary Education and the second a BS in Medical Laboratory Science. Following graduation in 1987 with my first degree I taught High School Science for 4 years at 2 separate private schools – one in Wakefield, MA and the other in Columbus, OH. After two years of teaching, my desire was to enter the medical field whereby my employer provided tuition coverage for a degree in Medical Technology. While working as a Laboratory Microbiologist, I taught an Introduction to Health and Human disease at UNH for college nursing students. Since then, I have been in the Medical Sales industry (18 years).
Teaching Style
My teaching style is one that is direct and considerate while attempting to make the field of study fun and interesting. I work best with high school and college students in the areas of biology, anatomy/physiology and lower level chemistry. I believe strongly in pursuing and achieving academic excellence and have a desire to help students achieve success.
