Experience Summary
As a recent M.S. Degree graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in Mathematics and science research areas. I have earned a BS degree in Mathematics and a MS Degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Meteorology. Earning those degrees enabled me to gain understanding in many areas in science and math. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills, which include writing a publication and thesis. During the past 10 years, I have tutored and even worked as a supplemental instructor in all levels of mathematics, from elementary school to college.
Teaching Style
I am definitely have a hands on teaching style when it comes to tutoring in mathematics. I apply real world scenarios and instances to make mathematics more fun and understandable to whom I am teaching. I noticed that when you apply those techniques to tutoring, he or she becomes more comfortable because they can relate the math to what they know about. My whole goal is to make mathematics fun and understandable to a point where he or she makes A's in all of there mathematics.
