Experience Summary
I graduated from Pisgah High School where I was in the Advanced program. I was required to enroll in the Advanced Math Program (Pre-cal) and Physics. I was also a part of the Math Team for four years and the Beta Club for eight years.
As a student at Northeast, I earned a A.S. in Industrial Electronics, as well as, a Long Certificate in Electronics. I've been tutoring my brother-n-law in math for the three years while enrolled at the ITT-Technical Institute in Madison, AL. I am working on obtaining my B.S. in Computer and Electronics Engineering and Technology. I currently have a GPA of 4.0.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching math because its something you use in every day life. When it comes to math, I am easy going and patient because I know how stressful math can be if you are struggling with it. I love having the skill to be able to teach another person that skill.
In the past, I have used analogies to help students to understand. Some students were able to catch on when I would use a different approach with others. My goal is to make it as easy as I can so that the student will come to love using mathematics.
