Experience Summary
I have been teaching students with special needs for the past 14 years. I have experience with preschool through 6th grade. I also worked at Sylvan Learning Center, where I worked with students through 12th grade. I especially enjoy working with students with Learning Disabilities, lower cognitive abilities, and children on the Autism Spectrum. I am trained in a reading program for children with Dyslexia. Teaching Style
I believe that every student has the ability to learn. Teachers must take the time to discover the individual needs of students in order to help all students be successful. I strive to provide individualized instruction in all areas and for all children. I firmly believe in involving a child's parents in all aspects of their education. Parents are a child's first teachers!
