I have tutored children and adults in Reading, English, Spanish, Math, and prepared students to successfully take tests to ensure their ability to further their education.
Teaching Style
I love to work with students of all ages, especially children. I am kind, patient, and enthusiastic about the process of learning and living. I believe it is essential to offer an environment that creates an upwards spiral and wide web of learning through utilizing methodologies like that of Vygotsky’s Scaffolding and a Montessori Approach, as well as employing ideologies from John Dewey, Alvin Johnson and Margret Wheatley – that when you learn what you love then you will realize that everything else that need be learned is intricately connected to each other. I have a creative essence that allows me to teach with ease and students to learn and be successful in every area of their education.
