Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate from Kent State University and have a combination of two very different subject areas. I have earned a BS in Biology (Molecular Concentration) and a Minor in Spanish. My minor in spanish has aided greatly in my overall grammatical skills and writing research papers. A few science classes that I have taken that shows the variety of subjects are:Cell Biology, General Microbiology, Vertebrate Anatomy, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Organic Evolution and Writing in the Biological Science. Over the past two years I have been a mentor/tutor for the Science Learning Community at Kent State and have gained valuable experience from helping others in my area of expertise.
Teaching Style
I am a very patient and considerate person which I believe aids in helping all types of students. I try to help the students find their own success without spelling everything out for them. I believe that I can make even the smallest difference in a student's educational pathway.
