I hold an M A in Art with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting,and have taught at Auburn Adventist Academy for the past ten years. I also have a B.A. in Art from
Southern Adventist University, Collegedale, TN.
Seeking to find a path to a career in the commercial art world I obtained an Associate of Applied Arts in Visual Communications/Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Seattle, Seattle, WA
I also have a teaching certificate from the North American Division Office of Seventh-day Adventist education.

Teaching Style
In my ten years at Auburn Adventist Academy (AAA) teaching art, I have seen that for some students, academics, but in my art classes they not only found success but gained confidence and excelled. During the school year my students learn shading, perspective, contour, and scratch board drawing. I require the maintenance of a daily sketch journal to show increased progress during each semester.
Being an art instructor/tutor is an opportunity that I have looked forward to for some time.
