Experience Summary
I graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Denver with a double major in History and Mathematics. However, I pushed myself to succeed in many other subject areas as well, including Theatre, Spanish and Leadership Studies. I also developed exemplary essay writing skills during my educational experience. As a high school student myself, I took a total of nine AP Exams (AP US History, AP European History, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Physics C, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature), and I scored the highest attainable score of five on all of them. During the past two years, I have tutored students in History, Mathematics, Science and Language Arts.
Teaching Style
I believe that every student deserves the individual attention they require to excel. I am capable of offering this help to your child: I am very patient, flexible and considerate, but I also push my students very hard because it truly helps them attain their academic goals. I take pride in working with my students to find the teaching approach that best suits their learning style. Sometimes a child needs more help than they are getting from their teacher alone, and that is where I can help. A good tutor can have a tremendously positive impact on a student’s academic performance, and I strive to advance the minds and lives of all of the students that I help.
