Experience Summary
As an educator, I hold three degrees in education. I have earned a BS in Elementary Education, A Master's in Elementary and I also hold a Specialist in Elementary Education as well as a Specialist in Administration and Supervision. I have taught 29 years in the public schools system. During the summer month, I tutor children in my home or at the local library. I also utilized my expertise by teaching in the after school program. I have taught reading, math, Language Arts, English in grades levels K-8.
Teaching Style
I have worked with children one one, whole class instruction with given individualized attention when need. I also have worked with small setting of children at a time. It really warms my heart when I see that "Light Bulb" shine in a child's learning process. It let's me know that I have a made a difference in that child's life. Being patient, kind, and passionate,I have made a lot of "Light Bulbs" shine in the numerous of children that I have taught over the years.My goal is to educate all children to best of my ability.
