Experience Summary
In Teaching students of all races and nationalities over the past
28 years the rewards have been fantastic. Teaching History for 21
years, Special Education, Severe Profound, and GED. My track
record has been excellant. I feel that all students can learn.
In public education today I feel students are more than just
test scores. Each student is an individual with individual needs
with different modes of learning. Parental help is critical.
To achieve the objective the instructer must gain the trust and respect of the students and thier parents. In order to be a good teacher you have to love the students and exspect the best out of each.
Teaching Style
Take the child's level and increase them higher. Using whatever
mode necessary. Hands on exsperience is usually the best. Various
types of learning styles are incorporated. Modivation is very
important. Self esteem is very important. The final outcome of a
educated student is a well rounded and sucessful person.
