Experience Summary
As a young musician, I began playing violin at the age of 9 and at the age of 14, I began learning piano. By age 15 I toured Austria and Germany with my high school orchestra and by age 16 I had composed my first symphony entitled Seven Emotions. At age 17, I performed at Carnegie Hall and went on to tour in Italy, again on invitational with my high school orchestra. In addition to this, I have a 1.5 years experience as a private music instructor as well as a BS in Music Business and Recording Arts.
Teaching Style
I have always loved teaching children the skills to become a musician. Playing music can inspire children to be creative and expressive. I believe that the success of a young musician is based on learning discipline in performance as well as skills to enhance their overall individual talent. I believe all students can aspire to become proficient in the art of music. I work with every student to highlight their specific sets of skills and talents to ensure they can perform to their fullest ability.
