Experience Summary
As a reading and technology teacher, I prepared high school students for college level. Teaching the method of (keyboarding) typing as well as basic word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software using the Microsoft Office suite. Teaching students to learn basic business concepts, employment tips, reading, writing and creating research papers as assessment. In addition, students apply their skills learned to creat portfolio highlighting academic and personal achievements. Include teaching continuing education after school program and administered assessments.
Teaching Style
My expectation is that all students will succeed, to have good classroom management, and to design lessons to help students reach mastery. My goal is to create self-aware, self-reliant, and self-governing for all students. A number of students are not aware of the importance of reading being a verbal intelligence.This was accomplished by increasing the motivation of students' interest by providing the necessary preparation to support students' reading comprehension. My responsibility is to equip students with strategies and skills that will open many opportunities for then in the future.
