Experience Summary
As an alumni of Berklee College of Music, I have a broad understanding not only of music itself, but also how it can be utilized in today’s contemporary world. I have had extensive theory, composition, electronic and vocal classes that not only opened new doors for my music, but showed me ways to communicate what I feel and hear to others through my music. While at Berklee I performed live with bands in Boston and for special events, such as the Red Cross, as well as receiving recognition for my compositions. The 4 years I attended Berklee I assisted and worked with classmates to help them understand assignments and gain the understanding of the material in class from studies such as music history through to performance.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with others to help them have a thorough understanding. I believe it is possible for anyone to understand and apply music the way they desire to. It depends on how it is looked at, and I am willing to shape my lessons around the thought patterns of my students. This helps them connect to their lessons and have a full grasp at what they are learning. I want to make a positive difference in the way my students hear music, write music, and perform music
