Experience Summary
During my 32 years of teaching experience in Newark, NJ, I taught grades K-3,served as the Staff Developer and the Whole School Reform Facilitator. I taught English as a Second Language, Adult Education and served as the Academic Advisor for the Irvington Adult High School.Since retiring I have beeen tutoring students in reading, math and language arts in grades K-12.
Teaching Style
Teaching has been a calling in my life for as long as I can remember. I love to work with students and look forward to the look on their faces when they grasp a concept. I believe in individual instruction for each student because all students learn in a unique way. I believe that all students can learn and an educator's task is to find the ways to help a student learn new things.
