Experience Summary
As an experienced professional in the workforce for over 15 years I have a strong work ethic and a sincere belief that education is the key to success. I have my Associates Degree from CASC in Psychology and Sociology and ultimately received my BBA NSU. After working for the Department of Human Services for almost 12 years I made the jump into the field of education and teaching. I have been an ESL instructor for adult international students for approximately one year and absolutely love it. I have taught students all aspects of English study including grammar, writing, reading, and conversational English.
Teaching Style
I absolutely love teaching and seeing a student coming to a true understanding of material or subject matter I'm teaching them. I believe that anyone has the ability to learn and each individual learns by different methods. As an instructor it is my job to be sure that I accomodate each students learning style and give them choices for finding a way to come to the full understanding of a subject. My goal in the field of education is for students in my classrom to meet his or her fullest potential while under my instruction. I try to offer a learning environment of openness and comfort and truly enjoy getting to know my students.
