Experience Summary
While earning my BA in economics from The University of Texas, I also completed all my pre-med courses. This has provided me with a strong background in mathematics, social sciences, and natural sciences. I have always had a strong aptitude for integrating concepts from different disciplines and exploring how they relate to one another. This skill is useful when explaining new ideas to other students in terms that they can relate to.
Teaching Style
Attitude is the biggest obstacle when trying to learn something new. I try to make the learning process as fun and interesting as possible. When a student is struggling, I believe it is vital to build their confidence towards success. It is important to not make them feel overwhelmed, but to show them how to conquer a problem step by step. I can help provide the tools that your child needs to realize his/her ability.
