Experience Summary
I have had years of experience even before college with Fine Arts. I had a tutor/ lessons myself in art from age 9-15. I have earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts at Virginia Tech in 5 years after transfer twice before. I was very successful at Virginia Tech my professors were always impressed with my drive to succeed. I have recently completed my Senior Art Show and had amazing feed back from all professors and professionals that attended. I also intend on applying to graduate school in the next year for my MFA.
Teaching Style
I love working with children that have passion for art and are as determined as myself to do the best they can even if they are not the most talented or it does not come as naturally. I have struggled with dyslexia all my life and understand when a child/student needs a little extra help in a area or just wants to learn more, in other words I can sympathize, because I have been there. I really like to help someone with skill and building there confidence in themselves over time. I want to make a difference in someone's life and even be mentor to someone who is working towards a goal.
