Experience Summary
I have lived in Spain in college and visited in high school. I've traveled to Mexico, Aruba, Spain, and el caribe. I have taught Spanish, technology and beginning French for more than 10 years. My MA is in Spanish and Learning Styles, and recently I finished my cultural linguistic certificate from Stanford University. Currently I teach teachers technology when I am not helping students with their spanish or english homework.
Teaching Style
I have a MA degree in Spanish and Learning Styles so I just love teaching. My style is relaxed, as I teach a foreign language. I think feeling comfortable is most important when trying to understand a new lang. I also bring various techniques that include technology, short grammar videos, games, short cult'l videos, songs the STUDENT likes, texts from topics that STUDENTS like, and I customize each training session to get my student up to speed and able to understand the given concepts, no matter if it is spanish 1 or 5. I've been proud of my 100% retention of all students that I've tutored because I am helpful, easy going and effective. Looking fwd to taking the fear out learning a language for you one day soon.
