Experience Summary
For my BA I decided in my Senior Year that I wanted to get a Masters Degree in Education so I switched my major last minute from Elementary Education with Emphasis in sciences and General Education to a understanding of how people learn. I have tutored friends and family in understanding a variety of subjects. Student success is a top priority of my mission and I will be receiving my Masters of Education in May.
Teaching Style
Teaching students is a passion and an art. I approach each situation by trying to understand what stress factors are experienced by the students, as well as how they need to be approached to learn. Some students need to have a direct approach, others need to try on their own and then step by step correct their mistakes to both build up confidence for doing well and understand where they went wrong. I strive to make sure the student understands the process and not just memorizes the answers.
