Experience Summary
I have earned two bachelor degrees, BA in Political Science and BA in French, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in politics, government, world cultures, economics, history, and French language and culture. While earning my degrees I was hired by the college to professionally tutor students in French. I worked as a teaching assistant for a French professor and independently taught my own grammar and conversation class once a week for a year. I also taught French once a week at a local elementary school for 5 months.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching others and helping students discover a joy of learning. I am extremely patient and never get discouraged because I believe every student can learn despite any disabilities or doubts. I am a firm believer in teaching through a variety of methods and engaging the student through active and hands on learning. I strive to not only teach the material, but provide the student with the learning and study tools necessary to succeed throughout their educational career.
