Experience Summary
I have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a secondary school teaching certification in Mathematics and earned a master’s degree in Statistics, while supporting myself with a teaching assistantship. I also completed all requirements, except my dissertation, for a doctorate in Educational Psychology and Research. I have had the opportunity to apply my education to real-world problems while working primarily as a pharmaceutical statistician and data manager.
Teaching Style
I believe people learn best when the instruction is directed to the unique needs of the individual. Identifying these needs by listening to the learner and observing reactions to different problem situations is critical to informing the instructional approach to be taken. Also, understanding the concepts which provide context to the instruction allows the learner to more completely grasp the material presented.
