Experience Summary
As a Wesleyan graduate, I was interested in curriculum and Graphics and found myself working shortly there after in a youth-centered non-profit doing design work. I have several degrees and a teaching certification in Art. I have learned a great deal about designing and working with youth. I have worked with youth programs through the years and tutored in many subjects and most recently taught art in the public schools.
Teaching Style
I like inspiring young people and believe that they will rise to your expectations. I am flexible, friendly and creative. I like presenting topics, working with a few ideas and generally giving a set of boundaries to explore within. I have found a great deal of success with the students I have worked with including a regional award and inspiring on-going interest in the topic.
