Experience Summary
I have been a professional writer, editor, book author and publisher for over 35 years in all phases of media, including large metro newspapers, international magazines, book production (including Rand McNally), syndicated radio, television, and new media especially internet blogging and short video production. I currently am on the staff or several national magazines, and continue to sell and publish books, as well as work with internet sites and video communication.
Teaching Style
Throughout my career I have mentored many fellow journalists, and have helped with editing, publishing, writing, photography, videography, radio production and more. This is hands-on teaching producing content that has been published in everything from newspapers and magazines, to books and internet blogs. I believe I bring real-world insight to written communication to tutoring writing for senior high school and college students who have a desire to greatly and quickly improve their written communication skills on all levels of business, educational and avocational venues.
