Experience Summary
As a gradute of the College of Creative Arts at West Virginia University, I was given the opportunity to learn and experience all aspects of the music education program. I earned my bachelor degree in Music Education and taught private lessons for a part time job to help put myself through school. I am currently in my fifth year of teaching and have experience in general music and middle school band. I love working with kids of all ages and enjoy the process as much as the final outcome.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I am a firm believer that all children learn differently and, as an educator it is my job to adapt to your child's style of learning. I have worked with children of all different ages and backgrounds; and found that they key to working across the demographic is patience, compassion and a willingness to learn.
